Barrack Obama. And making a difference.
There Will Be Blood. Such an amazing movie.
LOST. Why I love Thursday nights.
The Devil in the White City, by Erik Larson. Who needs fiction?
The Sandman: The Doll's House, by Neil Gaiman.
My favorite out of the three I own.
Sufjan Stevens.
Radiohead, In Rainbows.

So yeah. Just a few drawings I've done... fairly recently. I like them. And I feel like they show that I'm starting to get an idea of what direction I want my personal style to go in. None of it's really original, being that I do a lot of fan art... but I draw what I like (crazy British tv shows, psycho murderers, and oil men?). And I am not ashamed.
But I can only continue to grow.
And grow, I shall.
The one above has a lot of questionable stuff going on, things that are just kind of lame. But it has it's moments, yes?
Rosemary's Baby is one of the creepier movies I've ever seen. It's not outright horror, and I think that's why I like it. It's scary in a trippy sort of way. Especially towards the end. Mia Farrow's face when she looks into the cradle? Wow. I love how it's not graphic, it just gives the suggestion of what might be there, leaving a lot to the imagination. I like that in a movie.
The Exorcist is one of my favorite movies of all time. Also one of my favorite books. I like the characters, the story, the subject matter. Yeah, when it comes to scary movies, I'm all about Satan, haha. It's a great movie. Filmed really well, acted really well. And it's based on a true story, too. What more can one ask for?
This one's just for fun. Ravenous is hilarious, but I love how it can be funny and a gore-fest at the same time. I hate the narration in the trailer, because the movie itself is really enjoyable. I mean, it doesn't get much better than people eating each other with slight homosexual undertones going on. That and Robert Carlyle is amazing (and he seems to like eating people's faces off... see 28 Weeks Later).
Mmm, it's almost Halloween. :)
